🔥 Disposable BBQ Safety – Stay Safe This Summer 🔥

With the extremely hot and dry weather we are currently experiencing, we would like to remind everyone to take extra care when using disposable BBQs.

Disposable BBQs can remain extremely hot for several hours after use and, if placed on dry grass, sand, decking or other flammable surfaces, can quickly cause fires and serious damage.

☀️ Please remember:

🔥 Never use a disposable BBQ indoors or inside a tent, caravan or enclosed space.

🌿 Avoid using BBQs on dry grass, vegetation or other combustible surfaces.

🏖️ Follow any local restrictions or signage, particularly at beaches, parks and open spaces.

💧 Make sure the BBQ is completely extinguished and cold before disposing of it.

🚯 Never leave a BBQ unattended, even for a short period.

🌳 Keep BBQs well away from trees, bushes, fences and buildings.

👨‍👩‍👧 Keep children and pets at a safe distance.

A small BBQ can quickly become a large and dangerous fire, particularly during prolonged periods of hot, dry weather.

We want everyone to enjoy the summer safely. Please think before you light it and help us protect our communities, countryside and open spaces.
